This is truly an Olam Hasheker, a world of falsehood
The maamer shows that spring water from a living spring is the purest, the best, even purer than rain water.
Everyone these days drinks a lot of water, especially spring water. The most popular is "Poland Spring water".
Yet, the "spring" from which the Poland Spring Water company draws its water to bottle, dried up decades ago and the water they sell as "spring water" is not at all from a spring, despite the OU hechsher!

If water from a fresh spring is purer even than rain water from the sky
It would follow that bread from wheat grown in dirt should also be higher than the Mann from heaven.

We are an "infinite consciousness having a finite experience "
Just like Hashem. He is the ultimate infinite consciousness (who created and is) having a finite experience (with the world He created, with the others he created to populate that world and with the relationship He has with those others).

The reward of a mitzvah is the mitzvah itself
And not some later reward.
Consider the feeling a parent has when giving their baby a first spoon of ice cream. The good feeling the parent has is the "reward" for feeding the child.

The point of the maamer seems to emphasize physical mitzvos
Especially helping the poor.
Why then, is a Mother Teresa type person not considered the highest of the high?

Some people, including yidden, disdain the physical
They believe that spiritual heights can only be achieved by spiritual work, by fasting, meditation, praying, etc. The point in this maamer is that physical mitzvos are necessary as well as spiritual work.
Notice, however, that prior to creation Hashem was a purely spiritual entity. There was no physical world, no other beings with whom to have a relationship, no commandments to those others, etc.
I.e. Hashem Himself was not satisfied with the purely spiritual, but wanted a physical world, with physical others and physical mutzvos to do.

Imho it requires more than merely reading Torah, or loving Torah. To properly convert requires commitment and action. One must sincerely commit to not only the idea of Torah but to its actual implementation. One must DO what He wants, not only read what He wrote thru His true prophets, and live what He wrote. Shabbos. Kashruth, and proper inter-gender relations are basics.
