First, I would just like to thank you for your inspirational Torah. I love listening to your classes, and I very much enjoy how you integrate Torah, Chassidus and psychology. I work as a frum family/couple therapist, and so much of what you speak about resonates with me deeply, both personally and professionally.

I’m listening to your shiur on Likkutei Torah Zos Chukas #3 from July 4, and I’m wondering if there is a connection between the idea of “tzura” and the concept of “klipa”. The tzura, as described in this shiur, seems like the survival strategy that the Nefesh Hab’heima adopts to get through, which sounds very similar to how you have described “klipa”in other classes- the false self/survival strategy that people adopt to protect their true self and neshama, which then unfortunately can become their essence. (I’m only halfway through the shiur so I apologize if you make this connection later on).

May Hashem continue to give you the strength to inspire so many of us.

Thanks so so much for your very kind and meaningful words; they mean so much to me and encourage me and my team. And thank you for your sacred work helping so many people -- may it be with much success and blessing, on all levels. Tzura can be kelipa, but not essentially synonymous. it means how we sculpt the raw matter; yes at times the sculpting can eclipse the raw light, but sometimes not. To put it differently, using our terminology, to call the "Tzura" kelipa is only the tzura of the tzura, not its chomer. the tzura itself can be redirected and resculptured.
