The father asked the principal each year not to destroy hos child
Like the Hippocratic oath doctors take, when, they take an oath to first of all, not to harm the patient!

How do we know which day is Shabbos?
There was a count, and a mesorah from Adam to the Mabul, but during the year of the mabul, all mankind was locked into a dark teyva where no one could observe day or night. They must have lost count of when Shabbos is that year.
Maybe the Rizhiner confirmed we have it right, somehow.

We are told that Shabbos is a gift and all must do is yo protect it
Yet, there is the well known maxim, that "more than the Jews have kept the Shabbos, Shabbos has protected the Jews".

All of us use computers, but most of us are not
Concerned with the software running the programs we use. We care not about the "bavkend", that is the programmers job. It's a complex language that is absolutely necessary for us to use the program but so long as it's working we are not concerned with it. Only the programmer is involved with it.
All the kabbalistic explanations of how Hashem set up His creation, all the levels, all the flow of energy, etc., is His job as Master Programmer. We simply use the program.
Much of this maamer concerns the machinations of energy and world's. We are involved in Shabbos like we are involved in all other matters of this world. The maamer like much chassidus and kabbsla explains the program. Obviously it's Torah so we learn it, and it's even good for a computer user to understand the software and backend, but rhe main thing is to "observe and remember" Shabbos.
