I would love to listen to these Shiurim on the phone, but when I enter the call-in number of many recent Shiurim it just hangs up. Can anything be done about this?

Sometimes there are great actors and great movies also reflect G-d's greatness and gift of talent to actors, writers, camera men, etc. What is wrong with appreciating the great gifts G-d bestows on man? That's wonderful that G-d bestows great pain and suffering on man. I can' find His kindness to man.

So someone who is interested in studying a musical instrument or art is just a diversion, a waste of time.

      Exactly

Music  and Art are also divine creations and gifts when bestowed upon people as special talents. Why would these creations  be considered a diversion and waste of time? Why not an expression of divinity?  (depending upon how these gifts and talents are used of course.) Why not let music and art  bring joy and creativity to the world? Or even just expression?
