I was also looking for the question and answer section on chapter 5. If anyone can post it, or help us find it, I'd really appreciate that.

Free Choice question on chap 6 teshuva
Hashem did not even
Say which nation should enslave the Jews, yet alone which individuals. We see how Pharoe's daughter exempted herself. So could others have done. However, by Rivka's pregnancy, the Torah says that the sons struggled in her womb. When she passed an Idol, Esauv gravitated to it and when she passed a place dedicated to Hashem, Yaakov gravitated to it. So it seems that their righteousness and evil were sealed even before birth. How do we reconcile this with free choice? By Moshe Rabenu's birth, the whole house lit up, so how could he turn out other than the Moshe Rabenu that he was? If he had indeed turned out differently, how would the world have explained that phenomena? It would have left Hashem holding the bag so to speak, which is impossible. So we see that Goodness and badness is sometimes determined ahead of time. By the way, on chapters 3,4,5, and 6 of hilchos Teshuva, I can't find your questions and answers. Yaakov Feller

Halacha 2
What is the rambam saying with the וכשם- what is the
chiddush? Perhaps the answer is that one might think that before he sins the person has choice in his actions to decide good or evil. However, once he sins he is stuck and he no longer has the choice to do good and he is stuck in his sin forever.
( this can be supported from rabenu yona in the beginning of sharey teshuva that there is a special derech of teshuva that was provided for us, which implies without this gift from hashem we would be stuck)
One has to think when he sins he is not a nothing and worthless etc, rather he has the ability to change himself around the same way he decided to do sin which at the time he did with enthusiasm and with a ratzon and simcha. Those same kochos that were used for bad should show him of his tremendous ability of the kochos within him and his great potential and to use this to turn around his life for the good.
