Yaakov
hi rabbi jacobson,
thanks for the shurim
i have a general question please when it comes to rambam.when the rambam says "exempt' is the thing exempt from punishement and but still forbidden or exempt and permitted? i recall that by laws of shabbos the rambam says that its putor aval ossur but does that apply only by shabbos or in genarel and if you should say thats the always the rule why then does the rambam only introduce that rule only by shabbos?
thanks

from sefer daas Umachshava

Confused
Forgive me please, but I am wondering if Rabbi YY is conducting his Shiurim live or if the one posted on his website this morning was recorded. I logged on to join the live class today at 7am & 7:30am today, but there was no class Live streaming. Just wondering when this was recorded. Very much missing the Rabbi's personal touch when he broadcasts live...praying that the Rabbi and his family are all well, all the best, and Kasima V'Chasima Tovah!

We have missed the daily rambam class
It has given so much to our learning of the rambam The local radio station has rambam chapter a day in Hebrew but my husband doesn't understand it and it really isn't as good as Rabbi YY's classes we hope they start again. I also miss his Chassidut class. Both were in the afternoon but have a great pick me up during the day
