Thank you so much for this important shiur. Is it possible to receive a segment (the last part, the message for our lives)? Also, Rabbi Jacobson, if I could get your e-mail to be able to contact you I would very much appreciate it.

    Hi,

Can you please clarify that part about Rabbi Chananya  ben Tradion and Zimri, I learned that Rabbi Akiva was a gilgul of Zimri. Maybe a little off the subject of that class. But, I was discussing it with someone and am curious about this.

    thank you.

    Hello Again Rabbi,
Thank you again for the beautiful shiurim.  I have been thinking about Yiftach all week.  It seems, on a remez level, to be a story of shechina wanting to come out and us not being ready for her.  How lovely to consider Yiftach's daughter as shechina especially in light of the gilgul connection to Dina.  If only she had been let out for eisav... The two months can be remezim for the 2 batei mikdashim- when she was revealed to the world for a short time, and the four fasts work with the 3 about the horban and tzom gedalia.  Anyway, I just wanted to share my rumination and thank you again for the thought provoking class. May we merit to soon see shechina revealed in her glory.

Just one question: I’m trying to imagine if this story would happen today, don’t you think the whole Klall Yisroel would do everything possible to save this girl. Where was everybody? Great people lived then. How did Klall Yisroel allow him to go ahead with sacrificing his daughter?
