  So then of what use is the Torah?  If the Taorah just brings out what's inside of you, then what purpose does it have ?  I can work on myself without the Torah.  Please comment.

  The military strategy to fake out the enemy

  By pretending to withdraw and appear to lose, was done by Hashem Himself.

  At first He was the Only One and there was only goodness. Then He created the yetzer Hora to tempt man and created a temptable man. Then man sometimes succumbs to temptation and sins. 

  This means it appears that man as an experiment is losing......BUT eventually man does teshuva individually and collectively and overcomes the enemy, tge yetzer

  There's a military strategy whereby one side

  Appears to be losing so the other side pursues, coming out of their defenses, and those pretending to give up attack the open enemy.

  Where did this strategy come from?

  From Krias yam suf! The yidden appeared to be trapped and went into the open yam. Then the mitzrim pursued into the yam, and then WHAMMO!
