  yortzeit Rebbetezen?
  First of all my compliments!
  
  (In only heard the first 3 minutes so far, but plan to hear the rest soon.)
  
  
  
  I was just wondering:
  
  You mention that besides the yortzeit of Reb Levi Yitzchak, there is also Rebbetzen Channa and the Friediker Rebbe, but you didn´t mention Rebbetzen Chaya Mushka´s yortzeit.  Why?

     So much changed after the Rebbetzin passed away, the Rebbe no longer said hadranim on the other yahrtzeiten from then on.

      Also please note that from the passing of the Rebbetzin, on 22 Shevat 1988, the Rebbe did not hold any more public gatherings, "farbrengens," during weekdays, only on Shabbos and Yom Tov.
      
      
      
      The Rebbe did continue to say "sichos," to speak from a shtender near the place of his praying, but he would not sit down for a "fabrengen" in middle of the week. This continues till 27 Adar 1 1992 when the Rebbe suffered a stroke.
      
      
      
      Now, the reason for the Hadran was to allow for a farbengen (with lechayim and eating cake) on the day of a yartzeit according to those opinions that it is a time to fast. When there was no farbrengen any longer, there was no need for a hadran any longer.

  Reb Leivik's Birth Date
  His birth date was not 1838.

     Ah, an obvious mistake, he was born in 1878, the Hebrew is 5638 and I tend to get the numbers mixed up, thank you for the correction.
