Belated question
B"H
Dear Rabbi Jacobson,
Thanks for this lovely shiur. Geshmack!!
Just wanted to ask, how does the Rebbe finally explains the Alter Rebbe in Likutei Torah? And perhaps the Alter Rebbe himself brings the other opinion in different places? Like we found in Rashi and rishonim they brought the two opinions somehow.
Thanks in advance.
Always enjoys listening to you.

I really enjoyed your class on the debate between the Rebbe and his father about the power of thought.
One wonders whether the Friediker Rebbe’s remarks on leil Simchas Torah 5693 (Os 1-4) was somehow related to that inquiry. It’s around that time, and strong language; דבר ידוע ומוחלט… ברירו מילתא… מחשבה מועלת

Perhaps, I am not sure. But it certainly may be something the Rebbe was discussing with his father-in-law at the time as well.
Another point: See Sichas Yud Shevat 5711, on the argument of Beis Shamai and Beis Hillel, power of thought vs. action, and what the Rebbe says about our era. that may also be connected to this.

Dear Rabbi YY,
I have been contemplating the power of thought these past weeks.
Mostly learned in-depth with Dr. Joe Dispenza.
Your video made me appreciate this topic more as the Rebbe talks about it in favor.
Just a thought I wanted to share with you.
I many times have questions and I ask Hashem for an answer.
This is yet another time you are Hashem's messenger to answer my questions in your videos.
To prove it -
At Minute 2:03 you thank Rabbi Menachem Benshimon for facilitating this. - My name is Menajem Benchimol.
You bring Terumah a lot - My Bar Mitzvah Parsha is Terumah.
My takeaway is to spread and evolve this wisdom of the power of thought as I have been talking about to myself and my group of friends.
Dr Joe Dispenza has a fascinating language around it.
I hope one day we can witness a conversation between you and him.
Because 90% of what he says is Chassidus.
Im sure the world will benefit tremendously.
I also wanted to share another experience as such in another video you made- Meor Eyinaym Parasha Vaishlach and Shlomo Hamelech - there is light in fallen love.
You answered a question I had in your video.
There was a girl I was having a crush on, I felt Meor Eyinaim Yismach Lev. I wrote it down when I met her.
We went out for 3 dates and it did not work out.
I did not know Meor Eyinaim was my posuk for Menajem.
I was in distress but that video (can't remember which one it was) helped me cope and understand there is holiness in my fallen love.
The connections you make in your classes, you don't understand how it can help another person.
You really are an ambassador of infinite and I am grateful I am realizing I am one also :)
It's such a pleasure to feel the infinity of Hashem.
Best,
Menajem.

Lichora the rashi shtims very well with the Meiri I quoted below. The ritva in bava basra https://hebrewbooks.org/pdfpager.aspx?req=16210&st=&pgnum=319
The mashmaos is that regarding meilah you need specifically kedushas hapeh and that is why rashi speaks out peh even though in general machshava is enough. This is why the Meiri says regarding Meilah it is not kadosh and not that it is not kadush at all.
