the conductor is the only one without a musical instrument

A waived  baton makes no sound. The conductor just (!) gives each musician his cue and marching orders. A single musician is free to rebel and pay the price. When many musicians rebel it becomes a cacophony not a symphony.

When each does his part it's a symbiotic symphony. Each dovetails with the others

Hydrogen needs oxygen and vice versa to make water.

"Each has a spark to elevate". What Sparks did Hitler ym"s elevate?
