Yasher Kochacha rabbi jacobson,
As always inspiring and meaningful.I would like to just mention that I looked up the Avudraham and I didnt find him asking a question but rather making a statement based on the pasuk in Yirmiyahu you quoted and another pasuk in Iyov 3,2..that prenency and birth are intertwined"כי ההריון יאמר גם על לידה כמו הורה גבר".Anyway ..yasher koach and Ksiva V'chasima Tovah!
