  עכשיו שמעתי שיעורו מיוסד על הרשב''ם אודות יעקב אבינו, משה רבינו ויונה אודות הפחד של ה'מאמענט' של גדולי עולם אלו בחייהם ומאוד נהניתי מהשיעור ושמעתי על זה בזמן הנכון. 

   

  רציתי לשתף עם כבודו נקודה שראיתי וחשבתי עליהם לאחרונה שקשור עם ענין זה עכ''פ בד''א.

   

  הכלי יקר מסביר בביאורו על ברכת כהנים שברכתם של הכהנים מתחלק לשלושה יחסים בין ישראל לאביהם שבשמים, יברכך ה' וישמרך מורה על ענינו של הקב''ה בתור המגן שלנו, הוא יותר חזק וכו' ובמילא יכול לשמור עלינו, יאר ה' מורה על יחס של פנים אל פנים והוא מאיר עלינו את אורו אבל לא במצב של מלמעלה אלא ישר באותו מדריגה כביכול, ישא ה' פניו מורה על יחס איפה שהקב''ה צריך להסתכל עלינו מלמטה ואנחנו כביכול נמצאים במדריגה יותר גבוה ואנחנו משפיעים כביכול בהקב''ה.

   

  וראיתי לתאם כלי יקר זה עם מה שמוסבר במאמרו של כ''ק אדמו''ר נשיא דורנו ד''ה רני ושמחי שיש המדריגה של בתי שבנ''י עובדים הקב''ה בקבלת עול היינו הקב''ה הוא המצווה ואומר לנו זה מה שאנחנו חייבים לעשות ועושים כדוגמת יברכך, ואחרי זה יש היחס של אחותי ע''י לימוד התורה איפה שהיהודי ע''י לימודו מבין כביכול ה'גאנג' והקו של הקב''ה, הוא לא רק עושה אלא מבין למה והעומק שהדבר בדוגמת יאר ה' שהיהודי הוא כאילו פנים אל פנים באותו הבנה של הקב''ה ואחרי זה יש היהודי בבחינת אמי היינו איך היהודי חי את היהדותו הפרטית עם האתגרים הפרטיים מעלותיו, חסרונותיו, האני שלו בתוך היהדות ושמה הוא *משפיע* כביכול להקב''ה היות ומצוות בקבלת עול וגם מציאת התורה היו לפני היהודי הזה אבל שיהיה יהודי שחי יהדותו בצורתו הפרטית לא היה לפניו ולא היה בלעדיו ועל ידי עבודתו הוא משפיע כביכול בהקב''ה משהוא שלא היה להקב''ה כביכול לפני מציאותו של אדם זו בדוגמת ישא ה' פניו.

   

  ועפ''ז יש לומר שעומק הברכה של הכהנים הוא שיהיה להיהודי הכח והאומץ לעבוד את ה' בשלש בחינות אלו שע''י זה יגיע למליאת משימתו בעולם.

   

  ובנוגע לשיעורו של כבודו יש לומר שהפחד מגיע בה'מאמענט' שאנחנו משפיעים כביכול בהקב''ה ומובן איפה גודל ענין זה ומקור הפחד שאיך אני יכול וכו'. 

   

  (ויש להוסיף בד''א שהסיבה שכל הברכה נגמר בוישם לך שלום הוא בגלל שמפתח השלום בחיים הוא הבנת ענין זה שלפעמים צריכים להיות מקבל - תלמיד לפעמים צריכים להיות ידיד - פנים אל פנים ולפעמים צריכים להיות משפיע, וכאשר היהודי מוצא האיזון הנכון ביחסים בין אדם לחבירו זוהי מפתח השלום בחיי החברה)

  Beautiful shiur this past wendsday.

  Question from the words of the Rashbam it sounds that all he is saying is that anytime an individual thing running from his mission, he was punished.

  I didn't see the idea of, the fear of being great etc.

  Unless that is yours or Rabbi sacks understanding of it.

  On each contray it does not seem to be a positive Rashbam.

    Wonderful question.

    Of course, it is Rabbi Sacks reading into the Rashbam (with some additions I suggested). But it is not wrong, in my opinion. As when we speak of someone being punished for running from G-d and the Divine mission, we must look deeper into it and ask two questions:

    1. Why where such great people running from their Creator's calling? 2. what was the purpose and nature of the punishment. Punishments in Torah are not about revenge and vengeance. But about healing and correction.

  Comments and questions

  Listening to the women's shiur from last Tuesday  "It's our greatness we fear most". 

  A few comments: It's "daybreak" or "dawn", not "dawnbreak".

  It's hip "socket" not "sacket". 

  I thought that Yaakov went back for some jars. Didn't do anything wrong. 

  Moshe fought the snake because he tarried to do a bris, ok while travelling on direct command from Hashem, but lodging arrangements is another matter. The arguement with Hashem for a week is not connected to aveirah of postponing bris to make lodging arrangements.

  Yes Yonah had rejected his shlichus, but for a good reason, if goyim woukd listen so yidden would look bad. Not because he was afraid..

  Moshe tried to avoid his mission, but almost dying was only as a result if the fact that he delayed bris while arranging lodging (was ok to delay only while going on his shlichus).

  It's the sciatic nerve dislocated and we don't eat it (unless skilled treiberer). Sciatica is disease, an inflammation of thst nerve. 

  Yaakov gone 14 plus 20 = 34 years not 22.

  Succesful entrepreneurs aren't afraid of their greatness. Success breeds success, and the opposite.

  All journeys begin with first step.

  Moshe and Yonah "sought" to run, not seeked to run.

  Yasher koach again. You exemplify not being afraid of your potential and stepping up and let it take you further.

  Awesome class

  This took your  classes to the next level.  You taught Us a new way of appreciating life’s struggles, our times of greatest inner conflict is the initiation of the journey to our greatness!    An incredibly positive message.  You spoke of the unspoken.

   When you were done with your class, I felt the same feeling that you feel when you just come off an "intense" roller coaster in an amusement park.

   

  Me and I assume many others from the look on their faces, wobbled to find ground under their feet and walk back into Tuesday 11 o'clock, November 28 ,2017, Monsey.

   

  You touched on a topic, that is never touched in our midst. Your words brought so much light and truth into the tent yesterday, it was palpable.

  ​ ​

  I felt your class touched me very deeply, you were describing me, hiding, blending in, as not to make anybody feel uncomfortable, etc.

   

  Being more afraid of my light than my darkness, oh my!!! Did that  resonate..... and much more.

   

  We don't wait till we become, leaders, parents, etc.....stepping into it, is what will shape us into the role....brilliant!!! 

   

  I walked out thinking that I must pursue and form groups, around the 

  ​depth of Torah and spread the ​light, hope and love, that was given so freely to me.
