  22 years 😢

  Oh... Dear rabbi.. For 22 years Yaakov mourned... The shechina separated from him.. And he refused to be consoled... A 5 year old reading Rashi knows this... 

  That's a really tough and bitter pill to swallow 😢..

   

  We never hear about Yaakov during that time period but THAT'S the Yaakov so, so many of us need to hear about!

  Question on Vayeshev

  I have a question on your interpretation of Vayeshev. How would youl apply that to the Jews who died in the Holocaust. I think your comments were very profound I am just not sure how to interpret it in different situations. Thank you. Deborah Rosenberg

  Spiteful is probably the word you are searching for at beginning of lecture when Yaakov is wanting to be at peace but Yosef's problems "jump at him".

  Thank you Rabbi this parasha is perfect for my journey as a woman I am facing trial and charges against me that are not true.  I am in the  process of awaiting for a jewish attorney to represent Me for justice and truth in Hawaii. I am experiencing a shalom and new level of bitachon and surrender unto hashem.
