  Your fabrengen for ג תמוז was special even watching online. The feeling was new torah and inspiration. Thank you!

   

  I wanted to share a little thought as it relates to suffering, סובב and attachment. Feel free to use the vort wherever.

   

  The famous vilna gaon in parshas bolok explains the difference between עמו and אתו. Both mean being with someone, but אתו is an external superficial being with someone whereas עמו adds a deep internal dimension of being - a joining of hearts and minds between 2 people - 2 people with the same intention. Hashem told bilaam you can go איתם but bilaam went עימם with the same intent to curse as balaaks messangers. This explains Hashems anger with bilaam for going with them עימם even though previously He gave bilaam permission to go with them איתם.

   

  How close is Hashem to us in times of difficulty? Dovid Hamelech tells us עמו אנוכי בצרה. Applying the Gaon, when there is struggle and pain, Hashem is עמו "with us" in a deep intimate way - we are joined to Him in every way. His connection to us in a צרה is עמו not אתו - a superficial way of being

   

  Since the basis of our relationship with Him is עמו all the time, קל וחומר in a צרה we are attached in a most deep secure way to Him and Him to us.

  Coming from a family outside of chabad. The biggest gift in my life is that I got introduced to the rebbe and to Chabad and the teachings of the Alta Rebbe. It's pure bliss.

  The story about the rebbe not going into gan Eden is causing me so much pain. I don’t need him to not be enjoying his eternal reward just because we are suffering. He already went through so much in this life and accepted everything with ahavah. It would be a comfort, if we can’t have him with us here now, at least to know that he is davening for us from his position near the Kisei Hakovod where he belongs.

    You're feeling is commendable but The Rebbe can't enjoy Gan Eden as long as Yiden are in Golus. It's not an extra good deed that he did was care for yidden, that is the whole essence of The Rebbe. (Not to denegrate others) I think you're applying to the Rebbe the perception of Gadol as you read about in books that besides being big they did also chessed. רבי is an acronym that stands for ראש בני ישראל Rosh Bnei Yisroel, that is his whole being.

  Rabbi YY, thank you for believing in my 'dry bones'! I only believe in myself because when I met you at one of your tuesday womens classes, you said to me "I believe in you!" 

  You believed in me when I didnt believe in myself. I will never forget those 4 words-your words of chizuk and empowerment, that resurrected my dry bones! Thank You Rabbi YY!

  A good friend of mine, a Chassidishe guy, is devastated because his son, a Bochur a very successful Shliach left Shlichuss and joined the IDf, he says that the rebbes would have not approved. Aside from his fears as father he feels his son missed the point! What is your take on it? I would like to provide him with the right answer. Thank you for actualizing the rebbes vision.
