  "Its all about relationships, zivugim"

  Right. But before creation Hashem was One, the ultimate One.  With one there is no other, no possibility of any relationship. 

  The posuk says "it's not good for man to be alone". Right. It was also no good for Hashem to be alone. So he created another, another with which to have a relationship.  We merely are to imitate Him. 

  Yet, even enter creation,  after He created the other, we are really still all One because we are merely parts of the same One. Before creation One was undifferentiated like the single cell fetus. After creation we are differentiates parts of the One, like the different parts of the fetus and person as it develops.
