  Yakov may have rejected Eisav instead of reaching out to him, but was it not under orders of his mother to do so? Then why would the Midrash attribute blame to Yakov who obeyed his mother? That Yakov possessed ability to refine Eisav or not should be irrelevant.

  It doesn't say that he killed him psychologically and emotionally, it says that he killed him spiritually.

  The Sefas Emes' Chiddush that Yaakov Avinu fled to an Ir Miklat for the inadvertent killing of Eisav, it occurred to me that it is similar to Hashem's banishment of Adam HaRishon from Gan Eden to the Ir Miklat of the world, for the Cheit of the Eitz Hadaas, for bringing death to the world - he is viewed as one who killed accidentally and required Teshuvah.

  The Gemara in Bava Metzia 84a: the radiance of Yaakov Avinu resembled the radiance of Adam HaRishon. The Zohar Hakadosh (Bereishis 35b) adds that this implies that Yaakov Avinu was the Tikun for Adam HaRishon. The Arizal explained in Sha’ar HaPesukim (Vayigash) that Yaakov Avinu was a “gilgul”—a reincarnation—of Adam HaRishon and was thus obligated to rectify his failures and transgressions.

  Love these new Chassidus classes.

  Dear Rabbi Y.Y. 

  Thank you for coming back even stronger this year with your incredible Torahs. 

  I must say i love the new chassidus morning classes you give. 

  Its a class in its own recording. Your other ones were hard to follow becuase you would have to listen to all parts. 

  Here if you just listen to this your good. 

  Would be nice to have every Thursday a Sfas Emes Parsha Shiur from the Rav.

  Rashi says the repetition means that a tzaddik's departure

  Leaves a void. How does that explain repetition? We can understand that a void is created without any repetition.

  The others merely rolled away the stone but Yakov

  Revealed the well. Rolling away is temporary, merely a battle in the war. But Yakov conquered, which is permanent and winning the war not just a battle..

  The accidental murder runs to an ohr Miklos, but

  Yakov did what he did intentionally.  The concept of ohr Miklos doesn't apply. The blood avenger can pursue an intentional murderer and drag him out of ohr Miklos to beis din. 

   Also, couldn't Esav also "indict" his own mother as an accomplice and co-conspirator? 

  If, by rejecting Esav it can be considered a subtle formula of murder, is the Sfas Emes saying that kicking out an OTD kid out of the house is also a subtle form of murder? Avi Fischoff would agree.  Was Lipa's teacher also guilty of this? 

   If Esav is sheker, wasn't Yakov (and Rivka) also guilty of sheker?
