As discussed in the video: ‘The nature of ‘good’ is to bestow good’ In my understanding good seems to be a physical construct. We can only say God is good because He created the concept of good. God is just God. Does good exist as a creation of God?. I.e. if we weren’t created God would just be God (whatever that is). I.e God is a supreme being / the only thing that is. How can we discuss the nature of God as being inherently ‘good’ if good can only be understood in physical terms . I can’t wrap my head around this one. Moreover, we can only appreciate things that we earn (לפום צערא אגרא). Yet why didn’t God simply create a system without that caveat ? He is God. He could have created the system without that feature I.e. where the ultimate bliss is just receiving good without effort

Disregard the last part of my question. This last part was addressed in the video by the Rebbe on י׳א תמוז ( happens to be my birthday) The first part of the question still would be nice for some clarification

I've been listening to your shiurim on basics of emunah and was wondering of you would be able to email me the source sheet for emunah #17. In particular, I'm interested in seeing the Ramak's position that when the Arizal says that the purpose of the world is for making Hashem known, that really is for the benefit of His creations, not for Himself.
As an aside, from the tone of the questions you read, it seems like the majority of the questions have come from a place of anger and hatred; not from intellectual curiosity. I wonder if the attitude of "mir tohr nisht freggen" is something that the chassidishe velt will have to reconsider. How could it be that a basic curiosity to understand the truth is so condemned? It seems that the simplicity of the mehalech of chassidus to have emunah peshuta has turned from being a positive into a negative by unintentionally being megaleh panim batorah shelo kehalacha.
Also, I hope all of the questioners actually are satisfied by the intellectually clear answers you give, but I have a feeling that these questions are really covering up a much deeper and painful question: "Why did my parent/rebbe/sibling hurt me so badly inside?" Unfortunately, hugs and therapy seem to be the right answer to those questions, not shiurim.
Al kol panim, ashrecha for providing this wonderful service to those in the frum community who need this so badly - I can't wait to see the text of the Arizal/Ramak inside at your convenience.

We want the work and the truth
It is interesting that the concept is being discussed now again due to the political climate everywhere.
Most people in his experiment refused to be inside of such a machine if it existed. They oped out to live the life the way it is with all of its ups and downs instead of forever being attached to a machine, which will give them illusion of 'happy' 'care-free' life. He na dhis work is mentioned in a new book that was recently published.
