    wondering
thank you for the great shiurim!

I hate to be frank but...is it wrong to say that chabad failed in communist russia?

we fought it at first but once the friediker Rebbe was sent out the strategy changed to getting out until communisim fell! granted there was underground activity through all the years but it was very limited while judiasim remained dorment for decades until the revival of today.

The fact that there was the possibility for a revival of Judaism in Russia after communism owes to the activity of Chabad during that time.  Meaning that there were still those who called themselves Jews and remembered is because Chabad kept the pilot light on.
