One of the first things we did together as a people was sing. But how exactly did three million people sing the same song? There are three Talmudic opinions: Rabbi Akiva, Rabbi Eliezer and Rabbi Nechmyah. According to the first, Moses sang the song himself, according to the second, the nation repeated Moses’ song, and according to the third, Moses only opened the song, and it was continued by the people.
What is the logic behind this argument? It revolves around the question of what is the role of a leader? To inspire loyalty, to create followers, or to craft leaders?

The King Bowing
I was thinking the king who bows at Modeem Anachnu onward - for the whole of Modim - he must remain bowed. That the bowing should be the entire duration of שמנה עשרה is new to me; Are you sure?

Geshmake shiur today. I don't recall hearing the following דיוק but the first רש״י on the פרשה in ד"ה ולא נחם writes ולא נהגם. It's quite fascinating that the term נחם which also originates from the word נחמה is interpreted as הנהגה. Meaning, that the greatest form of leadership and preparation for the ultimate demise of a leader is to teach them to learn to become leaders on their own which is the דעה of ר
