  If I understand correctly...

  Atzmus, is infinite beyond definition. Therefore G-ds concealment is no less G-dly than G-ds revelation. Each point on the spectrum between revelation and concealment of Atzmus is equally accurate as a partial definition of infinity. It's our work to gain perspective as to where in the spectrum of revelation/concealment our experiences fall. To reveal G-d in the Ayin/darkness/concealment/absence equally as where G-d is gloriously revealed. This maamar is somewhat of a compass to guide us in gaining our bearings in relation to Atzmus. Whether we experienced the revelation of Atzmus or the concealment of Atzmus, perspective is key to integration.

  2 questions

  1. In the third shiur on Basi L'Gani I believe you said that our world experiences its self to be autonomous with no Source because we are Sourced in Autzmus.  It is what distinguishes us from the other world's which come from Divine light, which has a Source, so they experience having a Source.  But how does that fit with what you taught in this shiur that everything is Autzmus?  (Complicated ideas, so maybe I got it wrong?)  If it's all Atzmus, why are we the only ones to feel autonomy? 

  2. In terms of Shabbos and connecting to the essence of HaSh-m - Autzmus  - with no amputations... If a person has a feeling or thought on Shabbos that is painful/dark and identities that thought as an inexpressible expression of Atzmus will that attach him to Menuchah?  

  Question on the question: You defined menuchah as serenity.  You are also suggesting that serenity only comes when we join the oneness/stillness of HaSh-m - i.e. be in complete acceptence of all that is right now.  But if we are in a personal place of pain and stay in that place, even if we acknowledge that it is an inexpressible expression of Atzmus, in my experience, the pain is still there.  That doesn't sound/feel like serenity. It sounds/feels more like surrender.   Does this avoda take practice?

    I listened again and I got the answer to question number 1.  This world has the koach, the power and energy, of Ohr Ain Sof which gives us the feeling of autonomy.  The upper worlds only have Ohr Ain Sof which reveals Atzmus, but does not give them the power/energy of Atzmus, hence they do not feel autonomous.

  This is the ultimate reframing concept

   in psycology to reframe our lives in the light of infinity - all other modes of psycoloigy are inherently limited ( ein chavish matir bemes asurim ) as they are developed by the
  just have to say I don't know How our Rabbi YY has energy for all this!! I think Chassidus makes a person a shtick ohr infinite (sorry please cont shiur!)

    Yes some dark stuff can't be transformed therefore the darkness consumes it and since there can't be eternal darkness but only eternal light a powerful Orh of HaShem consumes it and eliminates the darkness

  So Hashem

  created everything from it's light yet detached himself so to give a little bit autonomy for life to transform into real Orh or light of HaShem. so to true understand Orh and able to connect with HaShem.

  What do we do with all this information

  in our every day lives? So many abstract concepts that you are describing. Diversity, unity, GD's "characteristics", the Ohr Ein Sof, etc. Lots of paradoxes which I work on understanding everyday. Probably should listen to each of the segments over again. Maybe you can summarize it in one or two sentances for the time being.

      Totally agree with you Rabbi Danny, we are never detached as we are the light of HaShem but the right word I should have used is unrevealed instead of detached. we are attached to HaShem in a way that we can reveal or choose not reveal the true Orh of HaShem through us and within us. and even if we are unable to reveal it we are part of the Orh nevertheless
