  Can't we learn from this, like from Nachshon and Pinchus, that the majority isn't necessarily right and emes and the right thing to do can be found, at least sometimes, with the minority.

  Didn't the 10 miraglim kbiwvany Kabala or Chassidus? Didn't they know, at least intuitively, that Tikun beats and overrides Tohu? Weren't they close to the Makkos,  Yetzias Mitrayim, Krias Yam Suf, the Aseres Hadibros, the Mann, the miracles with the Mishkan, etc., etc.?

  How much proof was necessary to drive home the point that with Hashem, the Mitzrim etc were nothing and so the Cnaanim were also nothing?

  I have it on good authority that the government of Israel recently sent spies into Gaza. The spies reported that Hamas has tens of thousands of missiles prepared and aimed at civilian centers of Israel, they have miles of underground tunnels, they are ready for self sacrifice including their own children, they have unlimited funding from Iran, they have great determination to wipe out Israel, chv"S.

  Some in the government were fearful, especially about civilian loss. 

  Others were not fearful, the Yehoshuas and the Calebs and reminded that EVEN THO THEY ARE POWERFUL WE HAVE HASHEM ON OUR SIDE.
