Rabbi YY- I heard you speak about the 45 Meron Kedoshim on Torah Anytime- of which you submitted your central theme in this essay.  In that speech, you took my breath away but restored my Neshama. שה׳ ישלם שכרך as only He can.

According to the Zohar, we don’t hate our fellow Jew. We hate their actions, their speech, their behavior.

What do you do when you are afraid of the future? What do you do about being afraid (all the time)?

    Emunah comes from the word

emun. A job, a training. Please explain the connection if there is one.

    So many tzadikim

Hashem has taken so many Tzadikim. Why are they being taken away from us?

Isaiah 57 Remove Every Stumbling Block

      1 The righteous one perishes,
but no one takes it to heart.
      Godly men are taken away,
          but no one discerns
that the righteous man is taken from evil.
      2 He enters into shalom.
          They rest on their beds,
each who walked in his integrity.
3 But as for you, come here, you children of a sorceress,
offspring of an adulterer and prostitute.

    When one tries...

to accept that there are no coincidences. It becomes so painful.  Why on Lag Ba’omer did GD create such a tragedy?? What is the message to this happening there?

Without the commentary of the Vilna Goen about going back to the beginning,

How would any of us ever understand what GD meant what GD means? It makes me think/realize how much we probably don't understand. And maybe instead of thinking that the events are negative, we should believe that GD really knows what HE's doing and the reasons are not sinister, not negative, not against us.

The yidden sang "Ani mamim" in the barracks in the concentration camps

Lehavdil, a Phillipine submarine recently sank killed all 50 crew members on board.

A video surfaced that as the oxygen depleted and they knew their end was near, they sang.

The submarine crew singing together was a few days before the voyage took off into the water At that point they did not know they were going to die

    Losing your emunah...

in GD. Some people do and some people don't. I think about the Holocaust in particular but there are so many other examples. Some people lost their emunah. For some it got stronger. I wonder what is it in the person or the event or the experience that makes some people hold on to their emunah and some people can't.

Sorry to be technical, even litvish, and pardon me if improper, but

Isn't it not right to make a Shiva call the first 3 days of Shiva, especially before the kevurah? .

And...Isn't the immediate family patur from positive mitzvahs while an Onan, before the kevurah?

Why is so much easier to be united and feel the pain when there is a tragedy in Am Isral and not to be happy with the simcha of each other?

    "Faith in times of crisis"

Tell me. Imagine if there ever was a time that all was good for the yidden. Let's say in the midbar. Let's say when the Beis Hamigdash stood. Etc. Let's say that all was good during those times.

Did people have faith then? Easy with openly visible miracles in the midbar daily or in the Beis Hamigdash!

Of course they had faith then.  Why not? Everything is good.

    Was there a crisis? No.

Now we have crisis after crisis.  Now out faith is being tested. There's no big test of faith when all is good.

"We take comfort in our unity"

Notice that the hundreds of thousands of yidden at Meron came from every possible group of yidden.  Zionists and anti-zionists. Chassidim and litvish.  Young and old. Frum and not yet frum. From every group fighting each other to form a government in EY.

Yet those yidden were all united in life at Meron with a common cause, the yortzeit of the Rashbi.

Then, in an instant, they were united in death..
