If we repeat an expression 4, or 8 or 16 times the listener can get bored
But in davenning we are speaking to Hashem and Hashem doesn't get bored.
In fact Hashem Himself repeats an expression like "Moshe, Moshe...."

If siblings are naturally extremely aligned
Imagine identical twins, with identical DNA who are raised together and know each other as closely as humanely possible

The neshoma wants to stay aligned
And tzaddikim manage to stay aligned.
But.....
By creating variegated neshomas and sending them down one by one, differentiated and separated, Hashem seems to want them to be so and NOT naturally aligned. Hashem sends down separate neshomas with separate missions.
From the neshomas point of view it wants to be aligned. Is that selfish?
Or should we want NOT what we want howsoever holy, but want what He wants for us to do? And is what He wants that we remain separated and differentiated with individual missions down here, OR that we overcome that differentiated essence and mission and become aligned with each other and our mission?

I saw on a morning shir fr about 2 years ago that the listeners in the room gave a nice applause of clapping at the end of the shir! Miss that w/o the live in person classes. I imagine we are missing much else also in this slightly turned upside down world of masks and keep away 6 ft etc etc
