Thanks for today's class.By extension what you covered has a profound impact on therapy. Most people think that therapy has to be a 'hard struggle'. This is a misconception.
    Paradox therapy is counter-intuitive.
Ultimately the work in therapy is to undo one's experience of being separate and alone - (the grand illusion). In pdxi rather than struggling against disassociation, we help the person 'disassociate better'.
This in-and-of-itself nullifies the person's sense of isolation (as the therapist is joining their defenses). In a counter-intuitive manner, this 'joining' re-introduces the person to the reality of the connection that was there pre-tzimson; all without a struggle.
Thanks again.Keep up the good work!

Esav's head joined his brother, parents and grandparents in Kever Hachpeleh

I.e. in his head, his mind, his understanding he realized that Yakov was pure, was right, was entitled to the brochas. Why? Because Esav had not yet reached his (higher) potential.

When will Esav reach that higher potential? When will his body also be entitled to join his head, his family?

Yakov himself said they'll eventually meet up at Mt Seir.  The ultimate geula, Moshiach

    1.

Even the most simplistic understanding of the essence of Hashem

Leads any thinking person to realize that no change in  the essence of  Hashem is possible.

Like the philosopher's nonsensical  questions whether, if Hashem is omnipotent, could Hashem could create another Hashem, kill Himself kaviochel, or create a rock so heavy He cannot lift it.

    Who am I pre-tzimtzum and post-tzimtzum?

In the womb we are all pure, tzaddikim, learning Torah, pure neshoma, holy

Only after coming out is it possible to forget the Torah we learnt, to commit aveirahs chv"S, and sully our neshomas that were pure.

Its not for nothing that birth is accompanied by "CONTRACTIONS". Contractions are synonymous for tzimtzum.

Esav is the goat, the darkness.

    Yakov is the sheep, light.

We know that Esav's source is higher than  Yakov. This is what Yitzchak saw. Potential. He is more powerful. However he misused those powers. And that  is what Rivka saw. Actual.

This is similar to the difference between Hillel and Shammai

Did Tzimtzim change essence of Hashem or just a change of His light

Sometimes a parent is positive, loving, caring, kind, giving  and nurturing. Sometimes that same parent can be, seemingly negative, punitive, harsh, withdrawing, etc.

    But....it's the same parent.

There's no change in the essence of the parent, but only in his outward manifestation.

Step 1 is Ohr Ayn Sof =Light

Step 2 is Tzimtzum=Creation of Darkness in that place  where that Tzimtzum has withdrawn the Ohr Ayn Sof

Step 3 is The Kav=Ray of Light

If you start counting from #2 then Darkness precedes Light. And the parallel is dark  🐐 goats before  Light sheep.

But....if you start counting from #1 then Light cane before Dark.
