Absorbing vs Emitting
Didn't you say in one shiur that that's how you learned to memorise the Rebbe's talks on Shabbos and Yom tov? What a powerful concept that needs to be applied in fixing relationships! I wish I'd learned this earlier; but even regret is a form of 'emitting'...

How then, did those who translated on the fly, like for the Rebbe's farbrengens, simultaneously listen to new deep concepts and translate into another language and other words at once?

When people communicate words they are put into context
Because there is a prior relationship to provide that context. It's very different if your spouse says certain words, or your child or parents say those same words, or your boss or a stranger.
I.e. words from another come from and are are put into the context of the relationship that existed prior to those words that were uttered. This is even true when those selfsame exact words come from a stranger where there is no prior relationship

It is a given that there was no prior relationship between Hashem and us prior to creation. There was no "US".
So therefore there was no context. His thoughts had to be condensed into words and further condensed into writing in a Book.

Really?
But we know that He used words, very specific words, to create creation? And chazal over the course of history have extracted myriads of meanings from those words. Many layers.
Moreover, He went further and communicated to us, who came AFTER creation, the words He used to create creation via His written Book, the Torah. (Including the oral Torah later written).

Most thoughts are a jumbled unorganized mess
But, when condensing them into words, especially speaking to another and not just to one's self, one is compelled to speak only the words relevant to the point, tossing those that aren't relevant, in an orderly clear way such that they convey the idea to another (or even to the self if speaking to yourself?).
This condensation process is continued when one has to write (or type) out those thoughts that have been condensed and organized into spoken words. Written words last.
Written words are yet further condensed, edited, and refined when the writing is put into a book. Especially with a ruthless editor.
So, whereas millions of words may have condensed billions of thoughts onto a digital platform (still words spoken not written) the next step in condensation and organizationusy be a book, a sefer.

Hashem Himself didn't create creation with His thoughts. His thoughts were the impetus to take it further. He, too, reduced, organized and condensed those thoughts into words--the words of the 10 utterances with which He created creation. With those words He created creation but, again, He went further.
To fix those creating words which had fixed those thoughts, just like in the example of a thinker, speaker and writer above, He also went further. He put those words into a book.
