    Moshiach Born
Can you quote the source for Moshiach born on Tish Bav? Was it born or conceived (leaving birth to be 11 Nissan on a leap year)?

    Gehenom vs Golus
You mention in the class that Avrohom was asked if he wanted us to have Gehenom or Golus and he chose Galus; seems we have BOTH anyway.

    Could you explain why ...

    question
I would of thought the the needle is just the tool to connect the 2 items, but the thread make the ACTUAL connection.

      Re: question
Indeed. See the letter inside, that it is the needle which creates the connection. What then is your question?

    Great Article
Inspiring message. This idea is found quoted from Rav Pinchas Koritzer in the Bnei Yisaschar on Chodesh Tamuz-Av, in the first piece in מאמר ג. Kol tuv

    seeds of messianic age
this article is beautiful, and dovetails with what I have been thinking/saying for decades about life here in Israel. I believe that the 2,000 year period of exile was like a time when we were like a hard kernel or seed, protecting the "ikar" of our national soul, almost dead to outward appearances. But when a seed is replanted in its land, and germinates, the kernel looks like it is decomposing... rotting. And this is as it must be for the new sprout to spring forth! Another reason why I am not discouraged by the "rotten" behaviour of so many Jews living in this Land!

    intimacy in flames
a very inspiring spiritual knowledge you have passed to us, where many are unaware that at the most trying period of the jews, Hashem is with them as always. as a noahide, seeing the world disintegrate in all spheres, it gives hope that Hashem promise that Israel is a light to all nations stands forever,

G-d save israel now, and in israel's merits may the sins of the 70 nations be forgiven, and may they all return to the 7 laws.

could you identify the apinting and the cerubs with the artists involved? Where are the pieces?

"Nietzsche, a 'fierce and fateful" critic of the Jews,"

Very attractive alliteration. Could you explain it?

    Thanks
Thank you very much for the newest article. The point of Moshiach's birth as the keys of the Bet Hamikdash were thrown upwards was the topic for the famous debate in Spain when Ramban had the Disputation which led to his expulsion.
The king expressed that he had won the debate but obviously had to leave. The focus was on the birth of Moshiach at that moment of destruction and the debate discussed the time variation.

    Anyways, I liked your essay.

    Question
    Great piece.
One note. Was the story of the kruvim by bayis rishon or sheini?
Wasn't the aron hidden before the end of bayis rishon?

    ב"ה b"H inyan: rejoicing on Tisha b'Av
    b"H
Thanks, Rabbi, and you know I firmly buy into this. Furthermore, I am hoping someone will have brought those little foxes, the Gilgulim, here to do their job on Har HaBayis. Furthermore, I think that everyone who has some money should use it to give "Shabbos kits" to every up to now non-Shomer Shabbos. The kits should include - apart from the Nerot already being distributed by Chabad - a bottle of wine, a bottle of grape juice, Challah, cake, nosh, coupons for buying fresh veggies, coupons for buying chicken or red meat, a Bentscher with Zmiros, Brokos for Lichtbentschen and Havdalah - and a Brakha in big letters to everyone receiving - for Yerikhas Yomim, Briut, Hatzlacha veHatzalah, kol tov and SHABBAT SHALOM UMEVORAKH.

Is this footnote actually saying that the Luchos - which I believe were held inside the Ark - are to this day underneath the Kodosh Kodoshim??

    This piece is exceptional.
You make me want to believe, really to believe. And clearly you explain why we are all indeed brothers.
I understand of course that your writings are based on the Rebbe’s teachings.

    Gal
thanks for posting and arranging the shiur. I found the first half to be so appropriate - the concept of us yidden being the needle to combine/sew hashem with the world. and the 'gal'
being the wave of tzures that wash over us yet leave us as pure
as can be... hard to swallow- makes golus seem so rational and
thought out but it really clarifies our mission. we want
    moshiach now!
