when I was a yoing Bochur I studied in Morristown Nj...., I layned the Megila in Fort Dix, I use to go on Mivtzoim in Newark and.... my father got Shimush from Rabbi Spitz (in Newark)!

You mentioned the Ruzhiner and said that he lived in the times of the Miteler Rebbe.
That does not help us much, as we do not know which year that is. In the future, kindly tell us which years he lived. Thanks.
Also, not all of us are Chabad, so to reference every rabbi to the Chabad Rebbes does not give us the info we need. I assume that even Chabad people do not all know exactly when the Miteler Rebbe lived.
Also, please tell us where is the city of Ruzhin. Thanks.

Thanks for your comment.
In the beginning of the class I mentioned that he was in the time of the second and third Rebbe of Lubavitch, and added (for those who are not yet familiar with the Rebbes of Chabad) "approximately 150 years ago".
Also, Ruzhyn, I assume is a town in Ukraine, which is close to where most of the Rebbes were at that time.
The sourcxe of the story is in Likutei Sichos Vol. 2 page 508. This is a story that was told by the Rebbe, during the week of Shiva of the Previous Rebbe's passing in 1950. During that week the Rebbe related several stories that he had heard from the previous Rebbe.
