    Sorry

I'm sorry for being so loose and disrespectful in my comments last night I wasn't in a good place. I am sorry for also being unkind and quick to judge. Please forgive me.

I believe that the Frierdiker Rebbe said Hichos Mendel not Toras Mendel

    Nachas

    Nachas
    Reb Yossi Paltiel:
I enjoyed your farbrengen on Yud daled Kislev immensely. One item made me uncomfortable, the issue of Reb Leivks hiskashrus.
Nisht altz daf men ois zogen, and it wouldnt have changed the overall story at all, if you had left it out.
The even habochen is, would the Rebbe have nachas with that statement.
    Keep up your fantastic work!

      Re: a
No. He may have rolled it up and pinned it, at least so it might seem from the photos.
Here is a comment by Rabbi Chaim Rapoport about this subject. it is on page 13 of this PDF essay: http://www.michtavim.com/Re...

    Very Thankful
What a beautiful recount R Paltiel of the Rebbe's early years and wedding date.

Thank you so very much for that. You are a beautiful man and true Chussid.

    the photo

The picture of that Rebbe seems as the Rebbe the got married in short - pocketed jacket. There is another similar picture of the actual date of the cha-su-nah with the Rebbe in his ka-pote which apparently seems more appropriate to post.

    Maybe answer?
We know it was Bo-beshalach, because that's when Basi Legani was first said... And then of course repeated years later. Right?

    Thanks
    Very nice.
Rabbi Paltiel, I think you made one error. On Shabbos 20 Av, 5750, the Rebbe said clearly that his father was "mekushar" to the Rebbe Rayatz, though it was not in the same way as to the Rebbe Rashab.
That would have been the right away of saying it.

      Re: thanks
In the Sicha in se’if 6 I believe the intention there is to the Rebbe RaShaB not the Frierdike Rebbe.

    question
How do we know that the Rebbe's first visit to the Rebbe Rayatz was Shabbos Bo 5783? What is the source?
Also, if I may ask: After 1950 the Rebbe when he wishes was so friendly, social and with sense of humor, as we often heard from Yechidos he had with people. Was this a quality that the Rebbe was "forced" to develop?

See Igros RaYaTz vol.15 page 31 in foot note.

Yes, see for example letter from the Rebbe vol. 3 bottom of page 155. The Rebbe said this of himself many times.

A beautiful video. Thank you Rabbi Paltiel from a first time viewer but definitely not the last. May Hakodosh Broruch Hu give you the strength to continue sharing our beautiful legacy.
