    Point in the class
    AFAIK, we don't mention the full name of S"M is because we aren't allowed to say names of angels (except when they are also human names [like Michoel, Gavriel]). That is also why we don't say the full name of Matat.



    For example, see Shar Hakollel (re. the Vayomer in the end of Hallel, why the Alter Rebbe says Vayomer before "Zevadya Ishmereini", and he answers that the Alter Rebbe ruled that we can actualy say this name, as there was a person in (IIRC) Tanach with such a name).
