I am sorry but I don't care who drinks. What occurs from it is not spiritual.....anyone can rationalize that they are reaching higher levels of consciousness; it happens to ordinary people all the time. People who take LSD or use pot or other drugs also think they are having transcendent experiences. I think a Tzaddik is still just a human being; true spirituality does not need drugs or alcohol to experience the Divine.
I don't think a Tzaddik is on a higher level when they become inebriated than anyone else. But you can make excuses about anything. People who are on high spiritual levels don't have more privileges than others; they have more responsibility. They should avoid using substances as an example to others.

I love these shiurim . But a request that you try to say more clearly words in Hebrew and Yiddish= especially peoples names. Often I cant catch them even after listening a few times.Thank you. Please say the names slower and more clearly.
