    Shechem Passion for Dinah

Just finished listening to it thanks.
    Few points:

    1) very nice it was well put into context and a beautiful picture I appreciate it.

    2) you mentioned about the forbidden bed sheets that she spread for him... That was another episode in menachos with the story of tzitzis and the harlots that later converted. Unless they are connected and there's a deeper chiddush, imho it's unrelated.

    3) now I understand the other Gemorah in menachos beshaah sheala Moshe lamarom... He knew what Rabbi Akiva was going through in Ashan olam Shana nefesh to say to Hashem that the Torah should be given to through Rebbe Akiva.... And that's why in balak and Gemorah sanhedrin did Moshe remain silent and the response to Pinchas was kreeina diegreisa.... Moshe knew so much he kept quite?? It's not that he didn't know... Moshe knew too much he was noigaah badavar....

    4) Heilige Rabbi Akiva, well knowing that Rabbi Akiva was metaken Shechem, then that does justice to Rabbi Akiva being the author of the principle of Veahavta lereicha that its a Klal gadol batorah, on all levels of affinity and attraction on all levels of Ashan.... Rabbi Akiva who (Shechem) encapsulated every type of love, longing and affection, he can coin the phrase and princle of loving your fellow. (it's interesting that the author in midrash that compares these levels of love from Shechems story to How Hashem loves us is Rabbi Shimon Ben lelakish, Nuu shevet shimon, but also someone who himself yoidea bleistaihuuu.... Will do justice to upholding the majesty and grandeur of Rabbi Akiva panoramic and paradigmatic love.

5)nuu after this class I can appreciate the roshei teivos they say Akiva stands for, yesh koneh olamo beshaa achas... Through ashan, yesh is nefesh, olamoi, nefesh, achas, shana.

6)I see Rav kook explains moshiach Ben Yosef as the need for material repair and moshiach Ben Dovid as the spiritual repair and ultimately the physical repair with the convergence of the spiritual anchor in the material. And Rabbi Akiva was moshiach Ben Yosef in his time and him and Yosef both go through a trial of spiritual experience specifically through a bodily and earthly pleasure as their greatest challenge.

Thank you very much and have an explosive experiental Shabbos!

You mention the Gemorah in Avoda Zora about Reb Akivah and the wife of Turnus Rufus. The order was he spat, laughed and then cried. Your amazing shiur is partly based on the premise that he first cried and only then laughed?
On a separate but related note - thank you very much for all your shiurim, content and delivery are equally fabulous
