    Distorting in the name of..?

Since when is ביאה translated as "living together?

It was banned because the עדים was פריצות. Not because ביאה was פריצות. The torah never said that.

Can you give sources for where the you got the distinction between baali and ishi? And how it applies to man/women, Jew/Hashem, etc.

See Likutei Torah Matos Maamar V'Eisah Ki Tedor Neder, beginning on page 83c. Derushei Chasunah by the Miteler Rebbe Maamar Kol Mitzhalos beginning on p. 528. Reshimos by the Rebbe volume 43, and many more sources. See the Reshimos ibid. for the connection to Lag Baomer and the explanation of the different methods of marriage.

Todah, I wanted to look a bit deeper into the idea. With the idea of using it in a class.
