Thank you so much for such a wonderful series. You've inspired my parents and me a lot, and we have what to meditate on during davening... Thank you for such a beautiful presentation too; your chassidishe levush is highly commendable, your clear explanations, as well as the diagrams, annotations of the text, and the fact that you always manage to finish the entire shiur. Yasher koach & looking forward to iy"H a next series with you!

    Terrific Series and some questions
Shalom Rabbi, Thank you for a very interesting discourse which has really challenged me to think continuosly. Couple of points to ask about:

Not sure how to connect the series on doing ethical business activities to mitzvahs. Are the mitzvahs we talk about only the 613 or does it include 'good deeds' and ethics in business dealings etc.?

If the ultimate plan of creation is to give Hashem a dwelling place on earth, why would doing mitzvahs per se bring us to the divine essence 'knowledge of hashem' when Moshiach arrives. I know the video covered that but I probably need to view it again. Any comments are always appreciated.

Re: Terrific Series and some questions
You're welcome, and that is the whole point of this course:to continue thinking about these ideas lONG after you've seen the class--that's what CHABAD (Wisdom, Understanding, Knowledge)is all about--having G-dly concepts in the mind....

      In response to your questions:

      1) Usually the specific term "mitzvah" relates to the 613 only, and therefore business etc. is rather part of "serving G-d in all your ways"--not just in mitzvos.

2)As explained in this shiur, mitzvos are G-d's Essential Pleasure that He has in His Self--by us doing them now, we will partake of what they truly are when Moshiach will come...

      Re: Thank You
      You're very welcome.

We're actually in the midst of deciding exactly how to proceed:

      1) Same style as until now, meaning five snippets classes, and a sixth to tie them together

      2) Go through a whole maamar

      3) Shorter snippets from Samech Vav, one completely not connected to the other--each shiur completely independent--allowing for shorter texts and shorter shiurim, and easier, too

WE'RE ASKING ANYONE AND EVERYONE FOR FEEDBACK ABOUT THIS, WHICH OF THE ABOVE SOUNDS BEST?????
