Sacrates
Rabbi Paltiel, what is the source of the story you told about Socrates coming to heaven and asking to be rewarded like Abraham? Also, did Socrates really beleive in one G-d? Finally, how do we know how to distinguish between self sacrifice for an ideal and personal completion, vs. for G-d, or truth? How can ou ever tell?

Otzar Sipurei ChaBaD (Glitzenshtein) vol. 15 page 211, his source is Reshimas devurim (Chitrik) vol. 2 page 47. Rabbi Chitrik heard the story in Lubavitch from the Mashpia Reb Shmuel Groinam Esterman.
