So why does G-d do this to us. I don't care that my soul can never be harmed. That does not make me feel better that my divine soul cannot be affected. Just leave me alone.

        Ibelieve you are right. I just wish that Rabbi Jacobson would spend more time addressing not only the pshychological pain we have but also the the sicknesses and diseases that hkbh puts on us.
