  Thank you for this amazing speech, so so powerful!

  On the topic of Modeh Ani, I heard a very powerful thing from a great Rabbi in Isreal as follows - We say "modeh ani" which in english means "praise I", now shouldn't we say "ani modeh" being that the proper way to speak is "I praise" and not "praise I"?  So he said the reson we don't say "ani modeh" - "I praise" is becase we can not start the day off with saying the word I as we are servants of Hashem and we are not "I" - we are not our own being to be able to say "I" - amazing!
