    Insight into Purim Katan

You see that small children (katan) are always happy for no reason. We were created Betzelem Elokim, and you can see it more revealed in small children . Perhaps this simcha, after meditating on it,  enables us to feel it later in life when we have been exposed to all the difficulties in life.

And how genius of the Rabbinum to see the importance of Simcha, and if the ISRAELITES are joyous and happy it will make HaShem happy eventually. ..such beautiful concept

The Rebbe's systematic thinking eclipsed by his social vision and outreach. Right. That's because there are, BH, many great systematic thinkers among Jewish leaders and rabbis. E.g. Brisk. But ONLY the Rebbe had such a broad social vision and implementation. On that he stands out and his other "maylis" take second place.

The Simcha of Purim higher than that of Sinchas Torah because the Simcha instituted by the rabbonim voluntarily self initiated rather than compliance with "Orders". And Purim Koton even greater than Purim because the latter instituted by Mordechai, a Novi, whereas Purim koton instituted by non-neviim regular rabbis. Why? Because we couldn't let an Adar go by without the Simcha of even a Purim koton!

2 bookends of that section of shulchan oruch signify fear of Hashem and Simcha.
But....what about Ahavas Hashem? I guess that's the whole middle of Oruch Chaim

Which Simcha is greater? The Simcha of Sukkos or Simchas Torah, a dorita instituted by Hashem OR Purim, a Simcha instituted by the rabbonim? I think it's the Simcha instituted by the rabbonim. Hashem has some pleasure that we comply with His Mitzvos, but I think He has MORE Simcha from mitzvos instituted by the rabbis. Like when He said "my children have defeated me" and the fact that we are not mere obedient robots, but ALSO PARTNERS with Hashem. Like a bris

Notice that pesach sheni comes AFTER pesach and came about because those who carried Yosef's bones couldn't participate. Conversely, purim koton comes BEFORE purim and comes about even though all cam participate in purim and no one loses out
    of Shulchan aruch.

"if I'm not mistaken" purim is the last yom tov, the last yom tov instituted by the rabbis. And so it comes dafka last in that section of Shulchan aruch.
