I just listened to your masterful talk on the Imageless Jew.
I have no doubt that you have experienced the content of what you are talking about and that you transmit the content of your talk to your listeners.
Please let me suggest that the essence of what you are communicating is also communicated by real Zen Buddhist teachers. There is nothing in your talk including the ten and the eleven and the unification of the ten and the eleven which would be foreign in the least to any authentic Zen Buddhist teacher. I think that you’ll also find that to be the case in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, a tradition that  I’m not that familiar with.
My guess is that if you reflect on your experience of the 11  that you won’t see anything Jewish there because it is without image. And that the unification of the 11 and 10 could also be the unification of the 11 and the whole universe. In the Buddhist tradition, the Buddha’s enlightenment was the enlightenment of the 10,000 things, everything(only G-d is real).
Maybe if you immerse yourself a little bit in Zen Buddhist teachings you’ll see the parallels.

The yidden are supposed to toil in Torah

This was Yitzchak's brocha, over and above Hashem's original thought to give the Torah to yidden as a reason for creation.

The toil in Torah takes it from an unearned "bread of shame", a gift,  to earned and therefore deserved bread.

    Atik means elevated, sublime, etc.

I wonder whether the English word "attic" (the room above all rooms), like so many other English words, comes from the original language,  Hebrew.  (See the book "The Word" that gives thousands of English words that are derived from Hebrew).

    How do we really know

When someone is ready to receive those blessings? How do we really know if and when the addict will receive the message to rise above the addiction. How do we really know what would have happened if Esauv would have received the blessings.  I suppose it was GD's direction to Rivka through Yaakov that he should receive the blessing. But as human beings how would we really know?

Where did the concepts the kabbalists speak of (sefiros, etc) come from?   Is it from Moshe m'har Sinai given over masorah over the generations?     I don't imagine they figured it out.    And maybe it was a later prophecy but I don't think that is how it happened either.

Another mother in law--daughter in law issue

We see that Sarah Imainu, when confronted with an OTD stepson Yishmael, who harassed (or worse) her own son Yitzchak, she opted for sending away the errant child.

Later her daughter in law faces a similar problem.  This time the challenge is greater because it is her own full sin, Esav, who is harassing, or worse, her other son Yakov.  But this daughter in law does not do what her mother in law did. Instead of sending away the errant child she sends away the "good" child for his protection.

Today some mothers (and fathers) are similarly confronted with OTD children who might negatively influence (or even harm) the siblings. Do we do as Sarah did or as Rivka did? Twisted Parenting says to do neither but to ride out the storm.

Welcoming Infinity by leaving our comfort zone

    Rashi brings in this weeks parsha:
It was bothering me why did Yaakov have to give all his money away- The torah tells us about Yaakov's strength and how hashem would guard him. He halachically could have killed Elifaz as he was trying to kill him. Based on the last class I thought of the following:
Yaakov was trying to reach lifney h' above his structure to reach number 11. Meaning yes he could have done all the above, but he wanted to reach elifaz and bring him to a higher level. He saw that with all his averos etc. there was that spark within him - in this case the mitzvah of kibud av- he wanted to develop this koach of elifaz to bring him closer to h'. He therefore, gave up everything he had - taking off his levush in order to help elifaz reach where he needed to be. He learned this from Yitzchak who loved him and never gave up hope (שֶׁגָּדַל אֶלִיפַז בְּחֵיקוֹ שֶׁל יִצְחָק). As you mentioned before, the steipler gaon said that because of yitzhak's love we therefore have klal yisrael today. Yaakov followed in the ways of his father with that very same love. What became of Elifaz? Iyov 4:2 rashi אליפז בן עשו היה ועל ידי שנתגדל בחיקו של יצחק זכה שתשרה עליו שכינה.  But it doesn't  stop there. The Rama Mipano in gilgul neshamos says that onkelos was a gilgul of elifaz and just like elifaz did not listen to esav so to onkelos did not listen to titus and he converted to Judaism. One could suggest that he got this koach from elifaz and for the reward of not listening to esav rather to yaakov we were zoche to have onkelus, the translator of the entire torah. Which place does not have a week go by, without the study of the words of onkelos. Every Yid has a chiyuv to learn his words every week in the study of Torah. This comes from the love of every jew never giving up on anyone. This comes from going beyond our structure and comfort zones in order to reach infinity. We learn from here how rewarding this avodah can be. In the beginning it might be difficult to go beyond ourselves but we must bear in mind that in the end the results will be infinitely great.
