Just one Jew can make a huge difference. That's true. But why ?

What is the source of the Jewish power?
Of course. We all know. It comes from H."

But, again... why ? Why H." gave this power to us ?
    Or rather... did HE really?

What really hits the horse ?...

The reality is : what is really powerful is the Torah. When we fulfill the Torah, we become mighty. That is our real and eternal strength.

So, despite any exterior circumstances, those who follow the Torah have nothing to fear.

FROM THE BEGINING - THE WORLD HAS BEEN CREATED AND IS BEING CONTINUOUSLY CREATED BY G-D AS HIS DIRAH BETACHTONIM. NOW IT IS TIME - AS MIDGETS STANDING ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS - OUR FOREFATHERS AND SPECIFICALLY OUR REBBE - FOR US TO REALIZE THAT WE ARE THE PHYSICAL EXPRESSIONS OF G-DLINESS IN HIS WORLD AND TRULY BE MOSHIACHDIK!

EACH AND EVERY MORNING I SAY "THANK YOU G-D FOR RESTORING THE SOUL IN MY BODY AS AN EXPRESSION OF YOUR WILL TO REALIZE THIS WORLD AS YOUR ESSENCE - HEAVEN ON EARTH!"

G-D Al-MGHTY BLESS YOU AND MAY WE ALL BE BLESSED!

I am a chabad baal tshuva for 6 years. Until recent times my bitchon in Hashem has never wavered. Since corona times, watching holy community members pass, I have been very confused. How can Hashem take this holy person, that holy shliach....but then again, this is the SAME Hashem was has let us die from the beginning of our history! I'm just a bit confused. In our Chabad apporach, we view Hashem as all good, and everything is for the good and tracht gut.... But read niglah! Hashem is always angry and punishing. We just finished reading Eicha where it explicitely says we recieved punishments for specific sins. So what is all of this? Is Hashem this all loving Gd? We never speak of avaros and we view focusing on punishment as a lower level of fear...but HASHEM himself says it all the time. Do this and no rain. Do this and you will live. What is Hashem?

JC, the G-d of the Christians, is a fairy tale of love and forgiveness which contaminates most non observant Jews. I am also a Chabad BT so I had to go through a major mind switch and massive learning to start to understand. The "deal" is rather simple and there is no escape if you were born Jewish or went through a legitimate Orthodox conversion: Hashem got us out of Egypt to be our G-d. He showed us incredible miracles such as the plagues on the Egyptians, the parting of the sea, drowning of the Egyptian army, Mannah feeding us ech day for 40 years in the wilderness, the giving of our Holy Torah, etc. How did we show our gratitude? We sinned non stop! The episode of the Golden Calf, the immorality with the Medianite women, the complaining that we wanted meat and...was He able to provide this for us? What chutzpah! The episode of the spies, the Korach rebellion, etc. Regrettably the list is very long and if it were not for Moses interceding on our behalf, Hashem would have destroyed us. The fact that He forgave (but did not forget) all but for the episode with the spies shows what a loving Creator He is. In this world, everything is measure for measure. You have free will up to a certain point and Hashem has a plan for each and every one of us. It is based on where you are spiritually and even takes into account your debts and achievements in past lives. Even hard lessons are tailor made to get us closer to Him. No such thing as coincidence. Suffering - which is difficult for us to understand - can actually serve as attonement for sins. This is a benefit to our neshama despite the fact that, often, we cannot understand His ways. There is no point in trying. Our job as B.T. is to learn about mitzvot and how to observe them properly. To be a light unto the nations. He has high expectations of Am Yisrael because of our mission as His Chosen nation. Whenever we stumble and adopt the ways of Edom (rather than the ways of Torah) we are reminded that we got off our holy path in a manner that can be very unpleasant. Truly, there is NOTHING in the Universe but Him. I strongly suggest two UTube videos by Rabbi Mendel Kessin:What is G-d - parts 1 and 2.

Most people are self destructive and don't fulfill their potential, in fear of making mistakes. We are often our own worst enemies.

Dear Rabbi YY in your amazing article Psychology of fear, Vain tears. You explain that the Doir Hamidbar did not have the self respect inner beliefs that should have been present with the trust in G-d. Enabling them to conquer the land. Indeed when you believe you are week you become week. IF I understand correctly It was not so much a great sin. It was more a mental attitude that prevented them from entering Eretz Yisroel. I ask IF it was more a mental attitude rather than a terrible sin why did this calamity cause this day to be source of suffering for generations to come. Why are the future generations held accountable for the mind set of the Doir Hamidbar. Is it still this same attitude and mind set that actually caused the future destruction of the Bais Hamikdosh. Further more does our generation right now need to approach this matter head on to bring about our final salvation. Many thanks for all you do in elevating motivating and inspiring klal Yisroel and bringing us all so much closer to the Geulah Hammitie
