כשתתבקש, חייג את מספר הזהות שלהלן.
Dedicated with love by Sara Metzger & Isaac Shepherd, in honor of the 70th Wedding anniversary of her parents and his grandparents, Imek (Chaim) and Pola (Pneena) Metzger, July 25, 2020. Mom survived the Holocaust; dad survived as a Russian political prisoner. They found each other after the war, moved to Israel, and started a new life together. May they have many more cherished years together.
This is a text-based class by Rabbi YY Jacobson on Likkutei Sichos vol. 29 Shabbos Chazon, exploring the famous metaphor of Reb Levi Yitzchak of Barditchov about Shbbos Chazon, on the father who shows his child the exquisite garment, and Hashem who shows the Jews the third Beis Hamikdash.
The class was presented on Friday, Parshas Devarim, 3 Av, 5780, July 24, 2020, streaming live from Rabbi Jacobson's home in Monsey, NY
There is a unique Divine energy and light which can only be manifested through you.

The beis hamigdash was a unifying force, yet
Even while it stood there was pirud, machlokis, a d sonas chinam so much so that the latter caused its destruction. So apparently the beis hamigdash did not unify enough to ensure its continuance.
Two people or groups van have 98% in common with each other, yet to discuss what is on common is boring. Conversations between people and groups usually hone in on the little bit of differences, that is more interesting. So, even though the differences are very small proportionately, that little but occupies the conversations and can lead to argument, machlokis or worse.

How many yummy things in a bakery!
Having grown up in a bakery I can tell you that despite all the variations in the treats available in a bakery, 98% of each and every different treat is flour water and sugar! (All equally bad for you!). Only 2% gives each their uniqueness.

Perhaps the explanation of the mashal of the 'beged' is that we find that a 'levush' refers to the middos of a person. (kedushas levi says this by the middos of Hashem as well that they are called a levush) The cause of the churban of the Beis Hamikdash was the bad middos that we have ( as seen from the story of kamtza etc. and that sinas chinam is what destroyed the beis hamikdash - brought below is from Yechezkal Sarna that brings this point out and how every thought can be destructive or the opposite way as well a positive thought could build the beis hamikdash. The tikun to rebuild is to fix our levush which is done by going in the derech Yeshara as the Rambam calls the proper path in ones middos - Hilchos deos Pere1 הדרך הישרה היא מדה בינונית שבכל דעה ודעה מכל הדעות שיש לו לאדם and in the end of the Halchos says one has to make it 'teva' and natural to him the way of proper middos
