Newness and football
The novelty of football is a great analogy.

The truth is that in the football game the greatest enjoyment doesn't come from which team wins. As an avid football fan for many years, the greatest enjoyment and laughter comes from the amazing catch of the wide receiver, the remarkable timing, or a fumble that goes back and forth from each side until it is finally resolved.
