The Children of Mother Earth
A Personal Message to Rabbi YY Jacobson

I thought just for a moment You will speak on behalf of Children, but I was wrong.
In Prague there's a four hundred years old Jewish treasure, discovered only twenty years ago by accident, preserved by G_d for His Children. Those who seek shall receive, those who see the Truth don't speak in vain.
Yes, we need the a reform of education, but worldwide and for EVERYBODY. Because meanwhile (any) religion takes care of and only cares for itself, the very planet we live on, is dying. When biodiversity is gone, humans including Jewish people, are gone next.
When Jewish people discovered the Truth nearly 6000 years ago, they set up a Mirror of Fire to protect the Truth from being destroyed. Problem is that today not even Jewish people themselves can see the full depth of the Hidden Truth behind the Mirror any longer.
Go to Prague and search after the Treasure. SEE WHAT THE MIRROR HAS TO REVEAL.

ישראל -6 שנים לִפנֵי
בחור אחד מתלמידי הגה"ח רבי גד'ל אייזנר זצ"ל לפני המלחמה, שעבר את הזוועות ושכח מאין בא ומה הוא, נכנס פעם אל השטיבל שבבנין הקהילה והחל מפציר הר"ג לצאת עמו אל החוץ, מכיון שיש לו דבר סודי לשוחח עמו.
עם צאתו ביקש הבחור להתרחק עוד ועוד, אל מחוץ לאותה סביבה, פסעו הרחק הרחק, עד הגיעם אל המקום שבו היה תלמוד תורה 'דרכי נועם' קודם המלחמה, שם למד אצל ר"ג. רק בהגיעו שמה גילה הבחור את הדבר הנורא שעל לבו, 'ברצוני להתחתן עם נכרית', ר"ל. ביקש לשמוע מה יאמר ר"ג על כך.
'הבט נא', אמר לו ר"ג, 'הרי עקב המלחמה חלפה תקופה ארוכה שלא חזרתי על שלחן ערוך אבן העזר, וצריך אני לעיין בהלכות אלה, אבל דבר אחד יכול אני לומר לך כבר עכשיו – קיין חסידישע זאך איז דאס נישט...
הבחור נתעורר ונתחזק מכך שר"ג התייחס אליו כמו אל 'חסידישער בחור'. הרפה מן הענין ולימים זכה להקים בית נאמן וכשר בישראל.

Torah Umesorah Keynote Address: We Need a Paradigm Shift in Education
Wow, that was powerful. I have come out inspired and hopefuly empowered too. My question is how do we give this space in our Yeshivos and classrooms where they ARE all supposed to be learning the SAME masechta attending the SAME shiurim etc. The ones who struggle will always see the others succeeding academically. Are you suggesting the yeshivos should offer a variety of limudim or courses for the diverse talmidim, what about the small yeshivos and what about individuals struggling in a particular clasroom or subject.

Someone pointed out to me that my second interpretation of why Reish Lakish jumped into the Jordan River (Talmud, Bava Metzia 84a) does not have a source among our traditional commentators. I thought I have seen it somewhere, but possibly I was mistaken. I am sorry for the error (if indeed it was an error.)
