What's below is a mirror of What's above

I once met a frum molecular biologist. I asked her if the sub-atomic world she I habits in her profession, looks like the pictures we have from the latest satellite telescopes surveying the cosmos in a way never seen before. I.e. Does a picture of the sub-atomic world look like a picture of the cosmos. She answered "yes", i.e. what we see way down below mirrors what we see far above. Like infinite layers of an onion.

    Whats wrong with plagiarism?

After all, "There is nothing new under the sun". Only Hashem created "yesh m'ayin", something from nothing. We all create "yesh m'yesh", something from something. We cannot create anything totally new, not even a molecule. In the realm of the non-physical, e.g. ideas, even if someone plagiarizes, there is no problem if he cites and acknowledges the source. Even the Alter Rebbe said the Tanya is nothing new but a collection from prior sources.

"Instead of being creative, the plagiarizer is busy

Covering up the plagiarism. Similarly, some criminals are so busy and creative to concoct a sophisticated crime, that, had they used their creativity and hard work to make an honest living, he could have been more successful and remain honest, and avoid punishment if caught.

"My daughter, my sister, my mother"

And where is the wife?? Notice that  the above 3 relationships are unconditional. Chv"S even if there is a complete breakdown of any of those 3 relationships  ("broygis" as practiced by many!); one still must sit Shiva chv"S. But in the spousal relationship (my wife) when there is a complete breakdown, one does not sit shiva for an ex-spouse. That relationship is conditional.

Perhaps the inclusion.of daughter, sister and mother but exclusion of wife, is telling us that our relationship with Hashem is UNCONDITIONAL, reciprocal.
