left out

Don't you know that Reb. Bentzion Shemtov was one of the people who gave the Tekias Kaf to the Perevious Rebbe?. I'm very surprized that you didn't nention him. It's known that he was one of them and many other missions that he risked his life for.

Rabbi B Shemtov

I did not mention the name of Rabbi Shemtov z"l, because altough my late father a"h told me his name, someone else shared with me what he saw himself: at a farbrengen someone mentioned in front of the Rebbe that Reb Benzion was one of the ten, and the Rebbe asked if they were sure about that. "Men eiz zicher?"
Hence, I did not mention it.

As far as his mesiras nefesh, the Rebbe spoke about it publically after his passing on Yud Beis Tamuz 1975.

It is a well known fact that KGB allowed spiritual leader and religious institutions (if any) functioning only under condition of disclosure of personal info of each member of their congregations. Till this days heads of any spiritual congregation, church, society has to be signed as KGB agents, otherwise they conseder to be persona non grant in Russia.

Dear Rabbi, thank you so much for this and all your presentations here at TheYeshiva.net. I try to watch you LIVE, but it is not always the case. Wish you and your staff the best. Your skills, knowledge are unbelievable and help to connect more Jews with Hashem.
